Introduction
Well, well, life, such as it is, goes on. It's the usual.

I took the above photograph on late Sunday afternoon, 2/7/2021. I was just having some fun! This is in Mrs. Appalachian Irishman's kitchen.
Our above-the-stove microwave stopped working a few weeks ago. We still had the Sharp Half Pint microwave stored in the basement. We got that microwave when we lived in Missouri (1986–1994). Half Pint was used by family members at the homeplace in Hawkins County while we were in Russia (1994–1999) and for several years afterward, until around 2008. Historical family memories come to mind. Half Pint rested in our basement until recently. He still works! (Yes, old Half Pint is a guy.) Eventually, we may buy another above-the-stove microwave.
Allegedly, the coffee pot was made in East Germany, a nation that doesn't now exist. My father-in-law gave it to my wife, when she started college back in the 1980s. It still brews coffee for me. Mrs. Appalachian Irishman has sworn off drinking coffee.
Saturday, 2/6/2021, was my lifelong friend's birthday. That evening, in the dark, I finally replaced an exterior light bulb. It is near the southeast landing, where steps lead up to our back deck. The old bulb blew out many weeks ago. In the cool darkness, Molly, our dear “old puppy,” was outside with me, taking a leak and wondering what I was doing. I decided to take a leak outside too! Don't worry, I was not visible to any nearby neighbors.
Conclusion
I hear Half Pint warming up leftovers. The time is 5:55 PM. Supper, such as it is, is almost ready. Life, such as it is, goes on.
