Introduction
Well, well, life, such as it is, goes on. It's the usual.
2/7/2021, Sunday, Photograph
I took the above photograph, on 2/7/2021, Sunday, in the late afternoon. I was just having some fun! This is in Mrs. Appalachian Irishman's kitchen.
Our microwave, above the stove, stopped working some weeks ago. We still had Half Pint, in storage, in the basement! We got the Sharp Half Pint when we lived in Missouri (1986 – 1994). Half Pint was used at the homeplace, while we were in Russia (1994 – 1999), and for several years after (until about 2008). The historical contexts are known. Half Pint has rested in our basement until some weeks ago. He still works! We will get another microwave, for above the stove, eventually.
Allegedly, the coffee pot was made in East Germany, which doesn't exist now. My father-in-law gave it to my wife, when she started college, back in the 1980's. It still warms up enough coffee for me. Mrs. Appalachian Irishman has sworn off coffee.
On 2/6/2021, Saturday, my lifelong friend's birthday, after we had Molly (our doggy) inside, I finally got around to replacing the exterior, southeast light bulb, in the dark. It had blown several weeks ago. It is for one door that leads into the basement. We didn't use it much. In the darkness, I replaced the bulb, while Molly was outside, taking a leak and enjoying life. I did also. No, I didn't take a leak outside!
Conclusion
I hear the Half Pint warming leftovers! It's 5:55 PM. Supper is almost ready, such as it is. Life goes on, such as it is.
