Introduction
This is an update to my article of 10/2/2021, “Knox County Schools: Corona Myopia Psychosis Gone Insane! (published 10/2/2021).” The insanity may be winding down, finally.
From 9/24/2021 to 3/14/2022
The Knox County Tennessee Schools website has a page that tracks the history of this masked insanity, from 9/24/2021 to the most recent entry of 3/14/2022. The information is available at https://www.knoxschools.org/Page/24593. The following quote is from 3/14/2022.
U.S. District Judge Ronnie Greer granted on Monday, March 14, the joint motion to lift the mask mandate while the Board of Education and the plaintiffs are undergoing the mediation process.
This means that when students and staff return to school on Monday, March 21, masks will not be required, until further notice. However, students and staff may still wear a mask if they choose.
Conclusion
On Monday, 3/14/2022, while I was working from home, my thoughts were on Papaw Aby William Wood (9/4/1901 - 3/14/1983). He was, and is still, my maternal grandfather. Searching this website finds several articles that mention Papaw Wood. I wear his middle name proudly.
The masked insanity in Knox County Schools should never have started. The total lack of common sense has been appalling!
